Sentenced to life in Devil’s Island, the notorious prison colony in French Guiana. Built a raft. Escaped. Lived in the jungle as a butterfly collector for six months. Recaptured. Escaped again. Made it to Peru. Still wants the man who framed him dead.

Convinced the Lost City of Z waits for him somewhere in the jungle. Needs to get the funds together for another trip.
